That's a brief taster of the lyrics to Barbara Markay's "Give Your Dick To Me," released by WEA in 1980. I should get some A&R tips from the fellas behind this one, doncha think? And just incase radio might think the lyrics a little naughty, "Give Your Flesh To Me" lies on the flip. It's been awhile since I've spent hours in a record store, digging up treasures such as this one. Dolly Mixture's "Bean Teen" turned up as well--for only 50 p! I understand that dirty records are a dime a dozen, but one that's dirty, tasteless, and completely devoid of irony? That's a combo you don't see often, hence my need to share.

It's just one of many presents to myself in the weeks leading up to my 30th b-day (Britt's "You Really Have Started Something" was another treat). I'll be celebrating my coming-of-age with a big bash at the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club on Friday September 21st. It's a joint b-day with my gal pal, Ruth. There will be DJs (so far Hot Chip + Saint Etienne have confirmed), cupcakes, balloons, booze, and go-go girls.
