No worries folks- Mary's fine (it's Pumpkin who looks troubled). And she gave me full permission to use this photo on my diary. This can happen after consuming Japanese shochuu, which we drank in copious amounts at Williamsburg Japanese bar, Bozu. I was praying that Bozu would have my favorite drink Tantakatan (shiso-infused shochuu), so when I asked the waitress if she had any, she ran over to her manager who then ran over to me, saying "HOW DO YOU KNOW TANTAKATAN?!!" So I explained I was just in Tokyo, and he said that there is not one bar in the USA that carries Tantakatan, but a friend from Tokyo had just been visiting NY and brought him a bottle. He's like, "I only live nine blocks away so I'd be more than happy to go get it for you." Really sweet offer, but I wasn't about to let this guy share his precious bottle with me. But I had no choice. He runs out of the restaurant and comes back ten minutes later, bottle in hand and pours a glass for me and Mary. What a man!

I thought net users belonged to the more educated sector of society. But choosing Thriller over BAD......

Crazy week of deadlines, work, interviews (possibly with Feist on Sunday- my fingers crossed!), and photo shoots ahead, but all I wanna do is drink and dance.
