Also, for you all in the U.K. Saint Etienne's Bob Stanley is hosting a film festival at London's Barbican theatre featuring rare pop documentaries from the '60s to the '90s. Girl group fans won't wanna miss the premiere of the Dolly Mixture doc., one of four films showing at the Punk and DIY Revolution night on Tuesday June 21st. Former metal diehards like me should head to the Barbican next week for the Teenage And Pre-teen Age Aspirations night, featuring a film about a 15-year-old metalhead and his band Manslorter (sic). Action Time Vision: Punk And DIY Revolution

Last night's Le One Night Stand was brilliant! At one point when I was Djing, I noticed all these guys just staring in my direction. I'm all happy thinking I've seduced a crowd of boys with my sexy French pop, but no.... right above me two go-go girls were strutting their stuff in cute French berets and stripy short shorts , and for the rest of the night I was being bombarded with requests to introduce the dancers to my friends.
