Never Again (again)

Remind me never to pull all-nighters again. I walked out of Village Karaoke at 5 am with blood-shot eyes and a scratchy soar throat after over-indulging in bad pop, red wine, and conversations with a motorcycle gang member (who kept showing off his "freestyle skills" by rapping not to music, but to the karaoke catalogue #'s- "140817 check check I'm gonna end up in a place called heaven"). Well I made that up, but it was almost that bad.

It was Mary's b-day Saturday night, and after hanging out at her swank E. Village apartment, we all ended up at karaoke. I hadn't been to karaoke since Japan. Mary's renditions of Heart ("Magic Man" and "Alone") are classic, but I have a low tolerance for most karaoke beginners and end up getting all bossy- demanding that they sing either N-Sync, Britney, or the Backstreet Boys so that we can all enjoy ourselves. Instead they choose Lynyrd Skynyrd (sp?) and boring Beatles songs, and that's when I take my bathroom break.

No, but I had a blast. It's the lack of sleep that's making me cynical.

Oh yes, so this guy Mordi from England is one of the few dear sweet Cha Cha Charming readers that sends me feedback. He recently started one of those mp3 blog sites where he uploads lots of very fine girl pop. Here is the link:
